- Velvet: 100% polyester, soft low-pile fabric. Offers a nice touch and appearance.

WEIGHTING FILLERS:
Sensory Owl is the only company offering different weighting fillers, as we tailor our blankets for each individual order. We offer two options:
- Glass granules: Provide a smooth and fine texture, similar to the feel of sand.
- Natural Gravel: Perfect for eco-conscious individuals and those seeking tactile stimulation. Offers a lightly textured feel.
Our fillings are certified and free from toxins.
SIZE:
Choosing the right size is a personal decision, but keep in mind that the larger the blanket, the heavier it needs to be.
For example, if a child needs a 100x150cm, 2.5kg blanket, then a 135x200cm blanket would need to weigh 4.5kg to provide the same pressure. Consider the weight that comes into contact with the body, not the entire surface covering the mattress.

1. Consider the reasons for your purchase. If you have a strong need for deep pressure, opt for 12-15% of your body weight.
2. Choose the desired size, keeping in mind that larger blankets require more weight. For instance, a child weighing 20kg and 140cm tall would need a 100x150cm blanket weighing 2.5kg. A child with the same measurements but with a sensory disorder might need 3-5kg, depending on the need for deep pressure, anxiety level, and hyperactivity.
